2009 will go down as a classic year in the history of the Bord Gáis Energy GAA Hurling U-21 Championship.

Clare’s maiden All-Ireland victory at U-21 level captured the attention of neutrals and die hard hurling fans alike and the gripping finale at Croke Park in September attracted one of the highest attendances in the history of the competition.

As part of the 2009 campaign we challenged all under 21 hurling fans to showcase their best, worst or funniest hurling skills and tricks on video. User generated videos were edited with ambassador and celebrity clips in compilations we called ‘Pass it on’ videos and for every video uploaded by the public we donated €2 to Temple Street Childrens Charity.
